How can anyone love a pebble in their shoe?

We are nearly done with state testing. Praise the Lord! Who came up with this anyway? "Hey let's stick a bunch of twelve year-olds in a room for three hours and ask them questions and make them fill their answers in bubble sheets." Have these people ever been in the presence of teenagers? I often wonder if the people who create these tests could pass them themselves. I don't think these people are educators. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I hate tests. (Don't tell the kids).
